About Gary D Spencer
For over twenty years, Gary D Spencer has designed, managed and taught a wide range of art courses, both in schools and colleges, and also as a freelance tutor and lecturer. As a practical tutor, he has taught various approaches to painting and drawing, from A level up to Degree level, both to beginners and experienced artists, and has run courses that explore contemporary ideas as well as more conventional and leisure orientated approaches. In parallel, he has also worked as an art history tutor, and his enthusiasm for relating this knowledge and understanding to more practical workshops gives his sessions their particular character.
Now working solely with adults on a freelance basis, he aims to provide art sessions that encourage those who want to explore their own abilities and take on new challenges. Whether they wish to simply enjoy taking on each task as they come, or develop their own identity and personal ideas as an artist, he aims to provide an relaxed and creative environment at a GDS Artchool near you (currently based in Berks, Bucks, Herts and Oxfordshire).
Please contact GDS Artschool below for further information (including current prices and locations) or any other queries you might have.
